🎇 Guy Fawkes Salsa Night – Pop-Up in the Park 🎶
The Cuban Groove turns 23 years old so we’ve decided to celebrate our birthday on Guy Fawkes Night. Let's sparkle on the dance floor on Wed 5 Nov at Tahaki Reserve, Mt Eden.
Wear something sparkly, grab your friends, some refreshments and dance under the stars and the city’s fireworks, laugh, and connect with fellow Latin dance lovers!
SCHEDULE:�
🕖 7–8pm – Open Rueda Workshop with Maestro Vivio�
🕗 8–9.30pm – Social Dancing – Salsa, Bachata, cake + more
🕗 9.30PM - Walk up to the summit to watch city's fireworks
LOCATION:�
The Stage, Tahaki Reserve, 250 Mt Eden Rd, Auckland�(100m down from the main road up to summit. Park for free on Mt Eden Rd; avoid car park which closes at 7.30pm)
PRICE: $20 for workshop + social, or $10 for social (cash or prepay online – DM us for details)
WHAT TO BRING?
* Torches & refreshments
* Friends and family
* Practical shoes for dancing on the wooden stage
* Warm jacket or blanket if you plan to watch the fireworks afterwards.
FACILITIES: Toilets available in the children’s park (3-min walk) or at Subway across the road.
